The 26th International Conference on Electronic Business (ICEB 2026)
Workshops & Panels Application

The ICEB 2026 organizing committee seeks to offer workshops and panels as part of the conference. E-Business and Management Information Systems scholars and industrial professionals are kindly invited to submit workshop and panel proposals for ICEB 2026.

We kindly invite panels that facilitate the discussion on cutting-edge research and intellectual ideas in the field of e-business and management information systems. Panels are expected to engage the panelists and the audience in a debate that encourages engagement and enhances the learning experience with the objective to advance our understanding on the contemporary issues in e-business. The topics of panels are expected to vary but revolving the novel research challenges and emerging issues in e-business in AI era. We sincerely welcome workshops delivered by researchers and practitioners on topics related to e-business and management information systems. The purpose of the workshop is supposed to cultivate communities of interest among scholars. They are expected to provide an opportunity to generate novel ideas, challenge conventional thinking, eliciting inspirations and build new partnerships. We invite submissions on all facets of the conference theme: Leading Electronic Business in the AI Age. The scheduling of workshops and panels will be determined based on submissions.

Proposal Submission
Proposal submissions for workshops and panels should include the following information:

  • Name the document with your name and the conference name: for example, Name_ICEB2026Workshops.pdf or Name_ICEB2026Panels.pdf;
  • Email it as an attachment to iceb2026@buaa.edu.cn;
  • The subject of the email should be "ICEB2026_Workshops_Application" or "ICEB2026_Panels_Application".
Submission Requirements

  • Email it as an attachment to iceb2026@buaa.edu.cn;
  • The subject of the email should be "ICEB2026_Tracks_Application".
For workshops
A description of the workshop, including objectives and planned activities.

For panels
The description of the topic to be discussed, the panel structure, including the format for interaction between panelists and the audience and a brief position statement and biographies for each panelist. Panel proposals will also be required to include a participation statement stating that all panelists have committed to attending the conference and serving on the panel if the panel is accepted.

Review Criteria
  • Proposals will be reviewed and evaluated by the program co-chairs.
  • The review criteria for panels will include the novelty of the topic, the format of the panel, the diversity of opinions within the panel, the implications of the panel for research and practice in e-business, and the likelihood of attracting a wide audience.
  • We intend to provide workshop organizers with early feedback on similar workshop proposals, allowing them to consider mergers (or modifications to make workshops more distinct) in advance.

  • May 15, 2026 - Session proposal acceptance announcement
  • June 20, 2026 - Deadline for paper submission
