Professor Robert M Davison

Speaker Bio
Robert M Davison is a professor of Information Systems at the City University of Hong Kong. He teaches IT Consulting, IS for Managers for MBA students, and qualitative research methods for PhD and DBA students. His research focuses on problem solving with information systems, especially situations where employees are required to use a corporate system that doesn't fit their needs. Prof. Robert Davison has published over 400 papers in conferences and journals, presented his research in 50+ countries globally, and also acted as editor-in-chiefs of two top journals: Information Systems Journal and Information Systems Practice Journal. In his research and consulting, he actively looks for problem situations where he believes that IS can make a difference, but invariably in combination with other aspects, i.e., not technologically deterministically.
