Brief Introduction

As a critical force shaping contemporary social development, artificial intelligence (AI) has injected substantial momentum into healthcare systems and health practices. AI technologies enhance the accuracy and effectiveness of responses to individual health needs as well as public health challenges, support the intelligent generation and personalized dissemination of health information, and fundamentally transform doctor-patient communication and human-AI interaction. In parallel, these advances are giving rise to a new generation of AI based health tools and systems.

The healthcare sector is undergoing an unprecedented transformation. From big data analytics and clinical decision support to drug discovery and precision medicine, AI is reshaping nearly every stage of the healthcare value chain. Despite these promising developments, significant challenges remain. These include technological constraints, the integration of AI into complex and high stakes medical contexts, the coordination of effective human-AI collaboration, the sustainability of interaction and service ecosystems, and the governance, ethical, and regulatory implications of AI enabled healthcare.

This track seeks to advance interdisciplinary research on AI in healthcare, drawing on perspectives from information systems, management science, behavioral research, and digital innovation. We particularly welcome studies that examine how AI-driven medical technologies influence patient behavior, doctor-patient interactions, healthcare service delivery, and the functioning of digital health and medical platform ecosystems.
