Brief Introduction

The rapid advancement of generative artificial intelligence (GenAI), including large language models, multimodal generation, and autonomous agents, is fundamentally reshaping the landscape of electronic commerce. By enabling the automated creation of personalized content, intelligent conversational interfaces, dynamic pricing strategies, and even novel product designs, GenAI offers unprecedented opportunities for businesses to enhance customer engagement, operational efficiency, and innovation. However, these transformative capabilities also introduce critical challenges related to trust, ethics, data privacy, and regulatory compliance. This track aims to bring together researchers, practitioners, and policymakers to explore the multifaceted impact of generative AI on e-commerce. We invite theoretical and empirical contributions that examine how GenAI technologies are being integrated into various e-commerce processes, the resulting shifts in consumer behavior and business models, and the societal implications of widespread GenAI adoption. By fostering interdisciplinary dialogue, this track seeks to advance our understanding of how to harness generative AI responsibly and effectively in the AI-driven era of electronic business.
